Application of Ammonium lauryl ether sulphate(AESA)

Ammonium lauryl ether sulphate(AESA) has good washing, cleaning and biodegradation performances. It has good resistance to hard water. Even there are large amount of dirt in hard water, the lathering power still retains high. With rich and fine foam, it endows hair the feeling of tenderness and easiness for combing, and endows skin smooth and comfortable sensation. It is widely used in liquid detergent, high standard shampoo, gel and weak acid shampoo and bubble bath etc. It can also be used as glass cleaner, wall detergent, automobile detergent, and hard surface cleaner, etc. It's not applicable in alkaline system. The recommended dosage is 5-30%.

Section 2 Hazards Identification
May cause some irritation to the mouth and upper digestive tract.
May cause significant skin irritation especially if exposure is prolonged and/or repeated.
Contact with eyes can cause severe irritation. If not washed out promptly, will injure the tissue, and permanent damage may result.

Section 3 First Aid
Wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice.
Wash the skin with soap and water. Seek medical attention if skin appears damaged.
Immediately wash out the eye with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes holding the eye open.
Seek medical attention urgently.

Section 4 Fire-fighting Measures
Fumes containing carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulphur dioxide may be formed in large fire.Use power, form, sand, water spray.Avoid using large quantities of water.In case of fire, self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Section 6 Handling and Storage
Store in plastic, plastic lined or stainless steel, tight closed containers at between 5 and 40 degrees Centigrade.Do not store close to strong oxidizing agents which could aggravate any fire situation.

Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothes.
Working procedures should be designed to minimize worker exposure to this product. When this
is not possible, the following personal protective equipment should be provided.
Skin protection: Protective overalls and shoes/boots recommended
Hand protection: Impervious gloves recommended.
Eye protection: Safety face shield must be worn.
Respiratory protection: All personal protective equipment must comply with the appropriate EEC (CE) standards and should be maintained and stored to ensure continued suitability for use. Where necessary
